Kenya international Musa Mohamed has scooped his first award, less than six months after he joined Zambian Premier League.
The Harambee Stars vice-captain, who currently plays for Nkana FC, was presented with the Patron’s Award for the most outstanding personality on and off the pitch in the just ended Zambian Premier League season.
The event, that also saw Congolese Idriss Mbombo named the club’s player of the year at the event, took place during the club’s gala awards held at the Nkana stadium in Kitwe over the weekend.
The Award came with a trophy and a cash reward. The former Gor Mahia captain joined Nkana in July 2018 from Albanian side FK Tirana.
Nkana are set to face off with Mozambican side Songo in the preliminary rounds of the Caf Africa Champions League on November 27 or 28.
