Karl Toko Ekambi joins Villarreal from Angers

Villarreal have confirmed the signing of Karl Toko Ekambi on a five-year deal from French Ligue 1 outfit Angers.

The Yellow Submarine's plan to reinforce their front line after the departure of Cedric Bakambu in January have been handed a boost with the 25-year-old’s addition.

Ekambi had a tremendous campaign during his second spell in the French top-flight where he scored 17 goals in 37 league appearances, a run that earned him the Marc-Vivien Foe prize - the best African player award in the division.
