Kariobangi Sharks striker Masoud Juma has left the country for trials in Sweden.
Juma, who earned his first cap for Harambee Stars during the 2-1 defeat away to Sierra Leone, will undergo trials with top tier side AIK Fotboll-based in Stockholm. The league's newcomers have confirmed the same on their official page. "Our top striker, Masoud Juma has traveled to Sweden for trials with top tier side AIK Fotboll based in Stockholm.
"The striker has had a good season so far scoring three goals in six league outings and has been an influence in the team's good run of results."
According to Sharks' CEO, Quinter Odongo, Masoud Juma has been a target for the Swedish side after impressing in pre-season. “We are happy that he got the chance to travel to Europe to try and impress during trials. He is an outstanding player and we wish him all the best in AIK which is definitely a top European club.
"It's the wish of every player to play for a top European club and Masoud has gotten the chance and we're hopeful he'll make it."
Juma started for Kenya against Sierra Leone in Freetown but was withdrawn for defender David 'Cheche' Ochieng' after Brian Mandela was sent off.
