“Tight is a good player. He is a very speedy winger. He is a player that can make things happen with his skill. Honestly speaking, I would like to see him score more goals,” Khanye told Goal.
Molangoane did find the equalizer in the clash with Cape Town City on Tuesday, but it was not enough to help Chiefs avoid a 3-2 defeat in the Mother City.
To date the winger has found the net four times for Chiefs in 17 appearances in all competitions.
“In modern football, you see wingers scoring goals. But he can make things happen for Chiefs because he is a player that can take on defenders and create chances for other players,” he said.
The Daveyton-born dribbling wizard, who thrilled supporters during his playing career, says Molangoane is the type of player the club have been lacking in recent campaigns.
“That’s a player they lacked in recent seasons, but I would like to see him take more responsibility. He is Chiefs' best signing in recent times,” Khanye adumbrated.
“Truly speaking Chiefs and Orlando Pirates need more players who can make things happen for the team when the chips are down.
“These are players you cannot restrict when they are playing because they know how to play in front of big crowds,” Khanye concluded.
