ISL 2017: Mumbai City to kick-start pre-season on September 24

Mumbai City FC are keen to build on their success last season where they made it into the knockouts for the very first time in the Indian Super League (ISL).

The Ranbir Kapoor co-owned franchise are to begin their preparations close to seven weeks before the competition is expected to kick-off in November.

Mumbai would use the facilities at DSK Shivajians in Pune for over 10 days with their Indian contingent.

Thereafter, they would fly to Spain where they are to undergo training and play practice games in order to ensure that the team is in prime shape and fitness for the season ahead.

The club has opted not to spend on a marquee player and have instead roped in experienced players with Achille Emana being the pick of their signings.
