FC Goa's assistant coach Derrick Pereira issued a clean bill of health for his squad and said that the focus of the team is firmly on playing good football and getting three points on Wednesday.
"About ATK, it is their home match and they have a good side. Every team is trying to settle down and find the right combination."
"We will definitely get better, it is an important match for us. We are going to focus on our style of play," said the former Salgaocar coach.
Goa lost their last match to Pune City at home. But Pereira believes the defeat was just a bad day at the office.
"There is always an off day in office. We had our chances in the last match which we did not take. There were some decisions which went against us. That is football."
The assistant coach is aware of his team's issues in defence,"We have worked towards tightening up at the back. We are aware of ATK's attacking style."
Pereira also touched upon the performance of young Indian footballers in I-League and ISL this season.
"Since both leagues are organized simultaneously, there are a lot of opportunities for youngsters. It is good for Indian football."
