Harambee Stars jet back from India as Ghana test fast approaches

Harambee Stars jetted back in the country from India after finishing second in the 2018 Hero Intercontinental Cup.

Stars lost 2-0 to hosts India in the final on Sunday, to take home the Sh2.5 million runners-up prize.

Kenya had earlier on edged out New Zealand 2-1 in the opening match of the tourney before rounding up the group matches with a 4-0 win over Chinese Taipei.

Stars used the four-nation tournament that also included New Zealand and Chinese Taipei, to gauge potential inclusions to the squad ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

Kenya is set to face Ghana and Ethiopia later this year, with a return match against Sierra Leone also on the cards.

Migne missed a number of key players including Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama, Michael Olunga among others.
