Singida United coach Hans van Der Pluijm said three points they won against Mbao FC were very hot on their hands because it was not an easy task against the team that Simba, Yanga and Azam FC could not win maximum points.
On Wednesday this week, Singida United defeated Mbao FC 2-1 and won three points that Simba, Yanga and Azam were unable to grab as they drew the match against the team.
After the victory at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza, Singida United now have 33 points and is in fourth place in the Premier League table.
Yanga ware beaten 2-0 by Mbao FC FC while Simba's game ended with 2-2 draw and Azam ended in goalless draw.
The Dutchman Hans van der Pluijm said it was a tough game but they fought hard to win, not like Yanga and Simba who failed to win.
"It's a pleasure to get the results in the field of our opponents because it was not easy, if you already know that Yanga lost here, Simba and Azam came out with a draw but we left with victory.
"With these result we are not going to sleep, we will try to improve ourself more technically since the league has become more difficult and competitive and there is no team ready to lose the game," said Van der Pluijm.
