Simba will travel to Cairo for the second leg tie

Simba Ghanaian midfielder Nicholas Gyan, has suggested that Al Masry were lucky to get a draw in the CAF Confederation Cup tie at the National Staidum on Wednesday.

Simba came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw in the first leg in Dar es Salaam and will need a win away from home to progress to group stages.

The Ghanaian international told Goal that they tried to win the tie but unfortunately the results were not good enough although he believes that there is still a chance.

“We tried a lot to win the game but Masry is a very good team, they came here with their plans and they manage to get a draw, that was unlucky for us and luck for them,” said Gyan.

Gyan who was deployed as a right wing-back was one among the outstanding performers for Simba after completing the full 90 minutes.

Simba will travel to Cairo for the second leg tie which will be held on March 17.
