Gor Mahia FC and AFC Leopards in action as KPL set to resume after the break

Thika United will host Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia as the league resumes this weekend after the Fifa break.

The tie will be pitting one side that has already secured the league title with six games to spare against another side that is facing relegation from the top tier.

Thika United are bottom of the table with only 20 points to show for their labor, thus far while K’Ogalo are just waiting for September 29 to receive their 17th KPL silverware.

The game, that will be staged at the Thika Sub County Stadium, will be among eight matches lined up this weekend across different venues in the round of 30 matches.

AFC Leopards will also get down to action against Posta Rangers at the Kenyatta Stadium. The match will be live on KBC Channel One and the official KPL Page.

Kericho Green Stadium will host a doubleheader pitting Ulinzi Stars vs Wazito that will pave way for a battle between hosts Zoo FC against Bandari FC. These matches will be live on K24 TV and the official KPL Facebook page.

Saturday fixtures: Chemelil Sugar vs Mathare United (Chemelil Sports Complex) Nakumatt FC vs Kariobangi Sharks (Camp Toyoyo) and AFC Leopards vs Posta Rangers (Machakos).

Sunday fixtures: Thika United vs Gor Mahia (Thika),  Kakamega Homeboyz vs Nzoia Sugar (Bukhungu), Vihiga United vs Sony Sugar (Mumias), Ulinzi Stars vs Wazito (Green Stadium), Bandari vs Zoo (Green Stadium).
