The Yellow and Mauve skipper says his colleagues have been picking positives from the ongoing World Cup to improve their game

Medeama captain Tetteh Zutah has revealed that Ghanaian players have resorted to learning tactics from the ongoing World Cup following an indefinite suspension placed on all football activities in the country.

The top-flight has been put on hold after an investigation by undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas revealed corrupt practices involving referees and football administrators.

“Since Ghana Premier League has been suspended, players have been affected so the only thing we are doing now is personal training. We do it in order to be in shape and hope that the top-flight will resume soon,” Zutah told Happy FM.

“Fortunately for us, the ongoing 2018 Fifa World Cup is also helping us, when we come back from training we watch some of the games to learn certain systems and things from some of the big players to improve our careers.

“I hope however that all differences will be settled very soon so that we can have our game back. This is what we do for a living so the suspension has affected us in numerous ways,” he added.

According to Goal's sources, a delegation from Ghana made of government officials and members from the defunct football association will travel to Zurich, Switzerland in the coming days to meet with Fifa in order to put measures in place for the resumption of football activities in Ghana.
