George Odhiambo confident Tusker are heading to the top

Tusker FC striker George Odhiambo believes the team is headed to the top of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) table.

The Robert Matano led charges are currently fourth with 10 points following their 3-1 win against Kakamega Homeboyz last weekend. The former Gor Mahia striker is confident the Brewers will continue doing better in their forthcoming assignments.

"First, our main aim is to take it one game at a time as we make our way upwards," Odhiambo told Goal on Monday.

"Our target is to move to the top and it will happen if we take it one step a time. With the way we are playing and the kind of training sessions we have, I believe the future is bright."

The 26-year old is delighted after opening his account for the 11-time league champions and believes more will come.

"Scoring your first goal in a new club is always special and I am happy to have opened my account for Tusker. Yes, I missed several chances but it happens in the game," Odhiambo concluded.

The next assignment for Tusker will be a home game for Sony Sugar.
