Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Tlou Segolela is reportedly training with Highlands Park.

The speedy winger is currently clubless after parting ways with Polokwane City at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.

Before joining Polokwane, Segolela was on the books of Platinum Stars where he failed to establish himself after leaving Pirates on a permanent deal in January, 2015

The 29-year-old is now on trial at Highlands, who are campaigning in the National First Division (NFD) after being relegated from the Premier Soccer League (PSL) last season.

The Lions of the North are under the guidance of tactician Owen Da Gama, who coached Segolela at Pirates during the 2007/08 campaign.

Segolela will be hoping to impress the former South Africa caretaker coach during his trial stint at the Gauteng-based outfit.

Highlands are currently placed at the top of the league standings with 26 points from 13 matches.
