Firmino is Arsenal's Achilles heel as Reds look to continue Anfield streak

The Liverpool striker has a history of shooting the Gunners down

Liverpool will be out to continue their undefeated start to the season against Arsenal on Sunday with distinct home ground advantage and Roberto Firmino up their sleeve.

The Gunners are without a win in their last five trips to Anfield in the Premier League - conceding 17 goals across that time.

A key man behind that poor record is Reds striker Firmino, who has been directly involved in eight goals in his last six Premier League games against Arsenal with only Robbie Fowler boasting a better record for Liverpool against Arsenal.

The Brazilian attacker has had quiet season to date by his standards with four goals and three assists but could really find his feet against a club he's taken a serious liking to.

Yet to lose this season, recent history suggests the Gunners won't be the side to shoot Jurgen Klopp's side down with the Reds looking to make it eight games unbeaten against Arsenal in all competitions.

The last time these two sides met in December it ended 3-3 at the Emirates and with two star-studded attacks another high-scoring affair could well be on the cards.

Unlike seasons gone by however, Liverpool's Premier League ambitions have been handed a huge boost in defence with the club conceding just seven goals to date - the fewest in the competition.

A fact that makes Arsenal's job of beating the Reds on their own soil that much harder.
