FC Zurich's Stephen Odey scores winner vs. Bayer Leverkusen

Stephen Odey was the matchwinner as FC Zurich defeated Bayer Leverkusen 3-2 in a thrilling Europa League match.

The hosts grabbed the curtain raiser in the 44th minute off the boot of Antonio Marchesano but were pegged back five minutes after the interval through Karim Bellarabi.

The German winger grabbed his brace in the 53rd minute to give the Bundesliga outfit the lead for the first time in the game.

Six minutes later, both sides were levelled as Toni Domigjoni struck past Lukas Hradecky before Odey swept home a 78th-minute winner off a Pa Modou Jagne low cross - his second consecutive goal after scoring over the weekend against Young Boys

The strike was the Nigeria international's fifth of the season, coming in 14 games. He will hope to stretch his goalscoring run when they meet with St. Gallen in Sunday's Swiss Super League clash.
