Elvis Nandwa brace handed Ulinzi Stars the first victory in six games after the Soldiers gunned down Thika United 2-0 at the Thika Sub County Stadium.

Nandwa scored in either half to take the pressure off the back of Coach Dunstan Nyaudo who last tasted victory since their 2-0 win against Wazito on May 19.

Nandwa gave Ulinzi the lead in the second minute after sneaking behind the defence to break the ice after picking a Masita Masuta's pass nicely placed behind the defenders.

Nandwa grabbed his brace with four minutes left on the clock to hand Ulinzi the much-needed victory on the road.

Daniel Waweru delivered a delicious free-kick after Thika committed a foul just outside their danger area.yy6
