Gor Mahia will take on USM Alger in the second match of Caf Confederation Cup at Kasarani Stadium on Wednesday.
K’Ogalo started their campaign with a one all draw away against Rayon Sports of Rwanda, while the North African side defeated Yanga by four goals to top the Group.
Coach Dylan Kerr has admitted that Meddie Kagere's absence will affect his game plan, but has admitted he is going for a win.
“Kagere is a good player, a quality one for that matter and his absence is a blow to us. However, I believe there is enough firepower in Guikan and Tuyisenge and they can do the job.
"We are going for a win which I believe we can get if we take our chances and stick to our game plan. Our main target is to top the Group and winning at home is important,” Kerr told Goal.
Another match in Group D will be between Yanga SC and Rayon Sports.
