The tactician says his side's great show of character earned them a priceless draw against Abubakar Bala's men in Lokoja on Sunday

Katsina United coach Baldwin Bazuaye says his side’s discipline inspired their 1-1 draw against Niger Tornadoes at the Confluence Stadium on Sunday.

On his first game in charge since replacing Bala Nikyu who recently quit his post, Bazuaye led the Changi Boys to secure their first point away this season in Lokoja.

And he has pledged to sustain their team’s discipline as they hope to achieve the impossible in their debut season.

"For this game, it was okay. We came here with the desire of winning but we are happy with the result,” Bazuaye told Goal.

"We deserved to win the game but due to some circumstances that are beyond us.

"In all, we are doing, we need to focus and keep our team discipline. The team is discipline and I keep telling them not to allow the success get into their heads.

"The relationship between me and the former coach [Bala Nikyu] is keeping the team going. With today's result, I believe we will go places."
