Consolidated Bank have survived relegation from the Division One league of Left Foot Sports by a whisker.
The bankers, who have always finished in the top four positions previously, will play in the division for another season despite finishing fourth from bottom. The bankers only managed five points from 20 matches but that was enough to keep them in the category whereas Black Diamond Club, Hurlingham FC and Sumo Insurance Agents have been axed.
West Ham United are the new champions in the category after amassing 56 points while Madaraka United, who won the league twice in 2017 and 2017, have finished second on 44 points.
Meanwhile, Amiran Kenya Limited are third on 35 points, Davis & Shirtliff Limited fourth on 32, Rapid Communications are fifth on 31, Schindler Limited sixth on 25, Nairobi Baptist Church 7th on 23, Nyayo FC 8th on 23, Strath FC 9th on 21 while Green Zone Property closes the top ten teams with 17 points.
This season’s league was very tough and saw three teams finish the season without winning a single match. The three are Black Diamond, Hurlingham FC and Sumo Insurance Agents.
