Chemelil Sugar coach Francis Baraza has admitted that poor communication amongst his players led to the 1-0 defeat against Gor Mahia on Thursday.

Odds were against the inexperienced visitors following K’Ogalo’s good run, but they were determined to prove the doubters wrong, until substitute Eliud Lukuwom won it late for the hosts. Despite that lose, the experienced tactician had nothing but praises to his younger side for the way it played.

“I cannot fault my players, they played well, gave absolutely everything and were on the verge of getting something from the game until that miscommunication between my defense and the goalkeeper. It is what cost us, otherwise we had a good game from my team.

“Well, I feel it is a motivation to my side because they have learnt a lot from this game that will be helpful in the remaining part of the season,” Baraza told Goal.

Chemelil has twenty-seven points, and will have to do absolutely everything to ensure they avoid the axe.
