Chelsea vs Liverpool: TV channel, live stream, squad news & preview

Chelsea will attempt to keep their hopes of a top-four finish alive when they welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Antonio Conte's side are currently fifth in the division, five points adrift of fourth-place Tottenham with three games and nine points left to play for.

Clinching fourth - and thus Champions League football - relies heavily on Spurs slipping up, but the Blues must also collect maximum points in their remaining games.

The Reds, meanwhile, can move closer to securing a third-place finish, and they come into the game on a high after booking their place in this year's Champions League final.

Match Preview

James Milner, Liverpool, Eden Hazard, Chelsea

Both sides have finals to look forward to later this month and the feeling is that those games will heavily inform the kinds of teams that are sent out in the upcoming fixtures.

Chelsea, who are desperately hoping to steal a fourth-place finish, have three crucial league games to play before facing Manchester United in the FA Cup final on May 19, while Liverpool have just two and a lengthy break before they take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final on May 26.

However, Conte believes that his opposite number Klopp will be instructing his players not to take their foot off the pedal in the remaining league games. "For sure Liverpool will want to finish this season in the best possible way. I don’t think the game in the Champions League will influence them," the Blues boss told reporters.

Conte added: "Our focus is to finish in the best possible way and fight for a Champions League place. The situation is not in our hands but we have to try and the way to start is three points against Liverpool. We have another final in the FA Cup and for sure we have to give satisfaction to all our fans. We want to try to do our best to the end."

Games against Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United follow the clash against Liverpool and a victory over the Merseysiders would serve as a timely boost for the London outfit as they attempt to pull off the seemingly impossible.
