The Angolans beat Zesco United in their last match and are now good candidates from this group to join Etoile du Sahel in the quarter-finals

Primeiro Agosto will be looking to cement their Group D second position when they clash with Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel away at Stade Olympique de Sousse on Saturday.

Following a 2-1 win over Zesco United in their last match which saw them displace Mbabane Swallows from position two on the log, Agosto plunge into the battle in this group.

The Angolan side would not want to throw away the opportunity they have, as they need to book a place in the last eight and face a challenge by Mbabane Swallows.

Facing Etoile who are yet to lose a match in this group is a huge assignment for Agosto but they would love to pull an upset at the Stade Olympique de Sousse fortress.

Having managed five points in total, they are just a point above third-placed Swallows, it is certainly a tough weekend for Agosto who have an almost impossible task in Tunisia.

Zoran Manojlovic and his men might not be bent on catching up with Etoile who are five points clear at the top but their intentions are on maintaining their position at number two.

A defeat for Agosto in Tunisia might give Swallows a chance to reclaim second position in the event the Swazi side beat Zesco United.

A draw again might not be safe for Serbian coach Manojlovic as a win for Swallows will complicate their life going into the last round of group matches.

But exploits by Geraldo and Democratic Republic of Congo striker Bobo Ungenda in the win over Zesco gives Manojlovic hopes that he has players with strong characters that can carry them in Tunisia.

Agosto will however have to worry about in-form Etoile striker Maher Hannachi and Karim Aouadhi who've produced impressive displays throughout the group campaign.

Meanwhile in Manzini, Swallows are also eying second position when they host basement side Zesco United. After being dislodged from position two by Agosto, Swallows are keen to reclaim their place with victory.

Thabo Vilakati’s men lost 2-0 away at Etoile in the last match and on top of their agenda would be recovery.

The defeat in Tunisia was their second in four games but they still harbour hopes of making it to the knockout phase.
