Boateng advises Borussia Dortmund’s Aubameyang on current transfer situation

Eintracht Frankfurt’s Kevin-Prince Boateng has advised Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on how to force his way out of Borussia Dortmund this January.

The 28-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this transfer window but the German club are adamant to let him move if the English Premier League side do not meet their demand fee.

It was reported that the Gunners have previously had bids worth €50 million and €58m rejected, as the German side hold out on a €70m fee for the talisman.

With the clock ticking towards the deadline day, the former Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan player has urged the Gabon international to sit down with his employers to speed up his transfer to England.

"I know him[Aubameyang] very well, he's a good friend of mine," Boateng told Eurosport.

"The most important thing would be to just sit down [with Dortmund] and use clear words – that's how you bring about some peace.

"But we must not forget what a great player he is and how much he has given to Dortmund. It's wrong, too, that everyone's piling in on top of him now."

Aubameyang was in action for full 90 minutes in Saturday’s Bundesliga game but could not add to his 13 league goals this campaign as Peter Stoger's men were held to a 2-2 draw by Freiburg.
