Betting: How will Norwich City and Sheffield United fare in the Premier League?

The Championship title is still to be decided but we know two of the three teams who will make the step up to the Premier League next season.

Norwich City and Sheffield United are both assured of promotion after their weekend wins, with bet365 making the Canaries 8/11 (1.73) to avoid an immediate return to the second tier.

Having racked up 91 points and with just six defeats ahead of their final fixture, Daniel Farke's side are Evens (2.0) to be relegated in the 2019-20 campaign.

On the opening day of the current season bet365 made Norwich 28/1 (29.0) shots for the Championship title and they are in pole position thanks to the division's most potent attack spearheaded by Teemu Pukki. The Finland international has netted 28 league goals, putting him top of the scoring charts at the time of writing.

The online bookmaker are 10/1 (11.0) on the East Anglian side finishing in the top half upon their return to the top-flight and 2000/1 about them winning the Premier League title.

bet365's Steve Freeth said: "Smart recruitment and good management has seen Norwich return to the top flight and they may surprise a few people next season.”

Unless there is a dramatic three-point swing on the final matchday, Sheffield United will finish as runners up in the Championship.

The Blades have secured two promotions in three years under Chris Wilder are 11/10 (2.10) to avoid relegation on their Premier League return. It's currently 4/6 (1.67) that they finish next season in the bottom three places.

Those who foresee better things for Wilder's side can get 12/1 (13.0) on a top half finish in 2019-20 and 2500/1 about an unlikely title-winning campaign.

bet365 make Norwich a 1/5 (1.20) shot to cap their incredible season by claiming the Championship title as they visit Aston Villa on Sunday

Should Dean Smith's side come out on top at Villa Park though, 7/2 (4.50) shots Sheffield United could swoop into top spot if they beat Stoke.

The Blades have a superior goal difference courtesy of a staunch defence that has conceded just 39 times in 45 games thus far.
