Bandari wishes Gor Mahia success in Everton clash

Bandari FC have sent a message of good luck to Gor Mahia ahead of their friendy against English Premier League side Everton FC.

Gor Mahia are set to play Wayne Rooney’s Everton at Dar es Salaam National Stadium in Tanzania on Thursday, July 13. But Bandari took time to wish them well even after high flying Paul Nkata side bundled K’Ogalo out of GOtv Shield in a dramatic penalty shootout after both sides played to a 1-1 draw after normal time.

“We have roasted Gor Mahia sana leo (today). Am sure they have learnt their lesson (but) in the end, it's a great football game, very entertaining and it has brought us all together.

“Gor Mahia Fans were all over us, we appreciate that. That is great sportsmanship. We wish Gor a win over Everton,” Bandari wrote on the club’s official Facebook Page.

Felly Mulumba scored the winning penalty for Bandari that sent K’Ogalo tumbling before their newly appointed coach, Dylan Kerr after 17 shootouts by both sides.
