Tusker coach Robert Matano rubbished the historic win, that leaves Bandari as the only Kenyan club to have managed to pick three points against the Kenyan champions.

“Bandari is like any other team in KPL, beating Gor Mahia does not make them special."

But Bandari responded with a jibe after coach Bernard Mwalala handed Matano his second consecutive defeat with only four matches left before the end of the season.

The win saw Bandari consolidate their second place with 49 points, 10 behind leaders Gor Mahia.
