There were certainly positives for Arsenal to take from their opening game in the International Champions Cup despite losing to Atletico Madrid on penalties.
The game finished 1-1 after 90 minutes ,although the Gunners had some excellent chances and could have won the game were in not for some strong saves from Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
Next up for Unai Emery's side is a match against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday, who lost their opening match in the tournament 3-1 against Bayern Munich and new manager Thomas Tuchel will be looking for improvement.
Arsenal are odds-on favourites for the clash at Singapore's National Stadium with William Hill pricing them at 3/4 (1.75) for the victory. PSG are available at 13/5 (3.60), with the draw offered at 3/1 (4.00).
That Arsenal are such clear favourites has a lot to do with the squad taken on tour by the Parisian outfit.
PSG will be without Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani, Angel Di Maria, Marquinhos, Thiago Motta and Dani Alves, and the starting eleven against Bayern was second string at best.
Arsenal, for their part, are missing few members of their first team squad, and Emery is likely to pick another strong starting eleven before making changes in the second half.
PSG are missing plenty of firepower and their front line is severely weakened with the big name absentees.
As well, Arsenal lacked something of a cutting edge against Atletico and there could be an argument made for opposing goals on Saturday.
The Gunners have only ever played two games in the International Champions Cup and both have ended as 1-1 draws.
Whilst PSG's games in the competition have tended to see more goals, without their most dangerous forward players the value could be in backing a low scoring game.
