The lanky Nigerian attacker has officially left the Den to sign for St. Georges in a deal that will see Ingwe receive Sh1.5m from the Ethiopian giants.
On Friday, Goal exclusively reported that Ingwe had reached an agreement to release the Nigerian striker after they accepted a Sh1.5m bid from the club. A source privy to the deal confirmed to Goal that the lanky Nigerian striker was already training with St. Georges awaiting the two clubs to reach an agreement before he signs a contract that was likely to be two years.
"He has been training with them (St. Georges) for the last few weeks and could seal a move before the transfer window shuts down on Friday," Ingwe Team Manager Gilbert Selebwa told Goal in an interview.
"St George's fourth foreign player. The 26-year-old Alex Orotomal from Kenya joins the team on a two-year contract," confirmed the club.
Orotomal signed for Ingwe from Rwandan side Sunrise FC and was used in the second leg of the Kenyan Premier League season. On Thursday, St. Georges captured the services of Harambee Stars keeper Patrick Matasi.
