AFC Leopards set to unveil another coach on Friday

Robert Matano is set for AFC Leopards return almost seven years after leaving the twelve times league champions.

Ingwe has been struggling of late in the field of play, and is currently placed in the 12th position with sixteen points, twelve behind leaders Gor Mahia. Speaking on the same, chairman Dan Mule said contact has been made and the ex-Ulinzi Stars man will be reporting to start work next week.

"Yes, we have talked with him and reached an agreement, he has gone back to clear with his team before officially joining us next week, probably Monday. Juma (Tom) will be his assistant, it is a good combination that I believe will help us record positive result," Mule told Goal on Wednesday.

The last time Matano was with Ingwe was way back in July, 2010, when he took over from the late Chris Makokha, but was sacked a year later after a poor run that saw the team lose against Western Stima, KCB and Congo United.
