The sugar millers are slowly re-discovering their form after a poor start with their opponents also posting relatively good results since Nandwa took over. The former AFC Leopards coach says they need to take their chances and avoid mistakes which can cost them the match.
“They (Sony Sugar), have an advantage, they will be playing away and they are definitely going to pressure us from the first second. We need to absorb the pressure early and be calm on the ball, but the best thing is to make sure we take our chances, those we create, that will turn the pressure against them. It is going to be a difficult match.
“I think the side that shall make mistakes will most certainly lose the match, it is good we be cautious and make sure we do not make those costly mistakes,” Nandwa told Goal.
Thika United are placed 11th on the 16-team table after collecting eleven points, a point and a place lower than their weekend’s opponents.
