Tusker FC striker Jesse Were has hailed coach Francis Kimanzi on his impact in the team since taking over.
The Brewers have not lost a single match since the league began and Were' who saw the back of the net 15 times last season, already has two goals to his name.
“The coach has had a really huge impact on the team because he has motivated us a lot and his tactics as well are very good and working with us. Under him, each of us has improved individually,” Were told Goal.
Were aims at surpassing his 15-goal mark from last season and he hopes to work hard and achieve the target. “I would definitely want to score more than last year and I am working hard towards that.
"But the most important thing for me is that we win our matches as a team. So far, we have played really well and the team work has been excellent. We are in good form right now and everyone is focused for good results."
