Ugandan side KCCA cruised into Cecafa Kagame Cup last four after eliminating Al Shandy at National Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday.
KCCA needed goals from Joseph Ochaya, Mutyaba Muzamir and Tom Masiko to join Kenyan champions Gor Mahia and Al Khartoum of Sudan in the semis of the regional competition.
Gor Mahia qualified after tossing out a stubborn Malakia of South Sudan 2-1 with Ugandan defender Goddfrey Walusimbi netting a brace. On the other hand, Al Khartoum eliminated favourites APR of Rwanda after winning 4-0 in the first quarter-final match.
KCCA will now face the winner between Yanga and Azam while Gor Mahia will confront Al Khartoum for the second time having clashed in Group stage with the contest ending in a 1-1 draw.
