AND THAT'S IT! Tata stays perfect as Mexico boss!
90' + 3' Just a minute or so left and Mexico with a free kick, that is cleared away.
90' SAVED OFF THE LINE! Mexico nearly give one back but there is cover, and the shot is headed back off the line by El Tri. That should have been a goal.
88' Decent attacking move from Venezuela but the hit lacks direction and makes for an easy save.
87' Now we get a little bust-up on the field. Guardado involved. Just a bit of shoving, nothing crazy.

85' Nearly another for Mexico! Rodriguez with the hit that is deflected wide of the mark. That would have completely killed this one off. Corner coming now.

82' Substitution Raúl Alonso Jiménez Rodríguez Ernesto Alexis Vega Rojas
81' Raul coming off now. A good showing from the forward overall, and Vega will get a few minutes to show his worth here.

76' Now number three arrives! It's Guardado with a moment of magic, and that should be enough to put this match to bed. A great take from the midfielder to settle and strike into the far corner with his second touch!

71' NEARLY LEVEL! A good save there denies what looked a real chance for the visitors to pull level from 18 yards out.
69' Guardado now on for Mexico as they look to salt this match away. Very entertaining second half all around. Venezuela still pushing the pace and the fresh legs may be needed for Mexico.

63' Oh my! That had to be number 3 for Mexico. Had to be! The first header is well saved, but Raul with a clean look on the doorstep is stoned by the goalkeeper and then, rather stupidly, tries to make the acrobatic play and is called for a high boot that rules out the third for El Tri. Amazing!

58' Venezuela not looking to go without a fight. Another attack down the left leads to a corner. Plenty of danger here, but El Tri get the first one clear.

53' GOAL!!!! Mexico take the 2-1 lead. It's Pizarro, who it looks as though is about to come off, who taps home. Lightening attack from El Tri, back to front. The first cross is blocked but the second finds a way through and is clipped home. And that's his final touch of the match as Pineda enters in his place!
51' Mexico attack ends with a foul. More changes getting ready to come on for Tata here. It's a bit sloppy at the moment from both sides.
49' Josef gets his first touch of the night as Venezuela start to attack. It's knocked away by Mexico who break the other way. Good end-to-end stuff here.
48' Another quick start from Mexico. El Tri have worked out a couple of half-chances already. They'll be hoping to make that early pressure count this time around.

45' And we're off and running once again.
There we are! It's all square, 1-1 at the break.
Enter Josef! With the match taking place in Atlanta, the hometown hero is now on the pitch for Venezuela.

44' Yellow card Tomás Eduardo Rincón Hernández
44' Nasty tackle. That's not what we want to see in a friendly. Rincon just hacked Rodriguez down in the middle of the park. Rightly booked for it.
42' Double chance!! Venezuela with a header that bangs off the post from a corner, and Rondon can't get the rebound back on frame quickly enough. Mexico got away with one there.
É. Gutiérrez

41' Yellow card Érick Gabriel Gutiérrez Galaviz
41' This has been a really well played half in all honesty. The visitors really came into it with the stunner of a goal and have looked much sharper in the last 20 or so minutes after Mexico turned the screws early. But Mexico have pulled level and we've got a good game going.
37' NEARLY!! Raul tried to attack a floated cross but it's just over him. That was a goal waiting to happen if the ball comes in two inches lower.
33' WE. ARE. LEVEL! Alvarado with a blast to pull Mexico level. Good attacking move and the ball was left to bounce in the box a bit longer than it should have been. Alvarado pounced and it's 1-1. Mexico right back in this one.

30' Alvarez just took a shot while sliding in for a tackle. He's back up and moving around just fine, but will be taken off. Mexico starting to struggle some here a half-hour in.
23' To Mexico's credit, there was a near answer at the other end straight away, only to have hte ball narrowly miss the post. But El Tri find themselves down now and will need to find a way back into this. The early pressure is gone, and the visiting side are playing with a bit more confidence.

18' AND MEXICO ARE BEHIND!!!!! WOW!!! What a hit there from Venezuela. From the right sideline a shot flies in over the top, clips the upper 90 and bangs home. Take a BOW Jhon Murillo!
16' The first quarter-hour of this match has been just the one story or Mexico pushing the pace and not finding much joy in the end. A couple of decent looks at goal, but overall, just a dominant showing with the ball.
10' Another chance for Mexico and Raul Jimenez can't turn his man in the box, sees his shot blocked away. This is one-way traffic for El Tri. Really a struggle for the South American visitors to get the ball away from their end.
8' Rough challenge there. No booking. Rodriguez was trying to hold off a challenge and was barged through.
6' Another shot on goal for Mexico, this time it's Alvarado rolling one in from his right foot. None of these are great chances mind you, but Venezuela really struggling to get on the ball and Tata's side look in complete control early on here.
4' Now it's Alvarado with a hit from 25 yards out. Bright start for El Tri. Collected simply enough this time.
2' Mexico with the first attack of the night down the left flank. Ball in is lacking, but even before this settled in Martino's side are looking to get it forward.
1' And we're off and running. Mexico moving left to right in the black kits as I see it. Venezuela in the all-white.
With just two matches before the Gold Cup for Mexico, and two before the Copa for Venezuela, they'll both want to show well. Venezuela will be playing the United States on Sunday, while Mexico will round out their Gold Cup with a clash against Ecuador on the same day.
A couple of interesting choices from both managers, but for Mexico, it's the front three that will be worth watching. How they play tonight could be big in who starts for Mexico's revamped attack during the Gold Cup.
Here's how the teams will come out tonight: Mexico XI:  Orozco; Navarro, Reyes, Araujo, Gallardo; C. Rodriguez, Alvarez, Gutierrez; Pizarro, Jimenez, Alvarado Venezuela XI: Farinez; Hernandez, Osorio, Villanueva, Rosales; Rincon, Herrera, Moreno, Machis, Murillo; Rondon
