Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
United are next in action against AC Milan in the second leg of their Europa League round-of-16 clash at San Siro on Thursday. West Ham next play Arsenal next Sunday on home soil in the Premier League.
Manchester United return to second place in the Premier League table courtesy of a 1-0 win over West Ham United at Old Trafford. Craig Dawson put the ball into his own net from a Bruno Fernandes corner in the defining moment of the contest. Mason Greenwood rattled the post twice, while Marcus Rashford also missed a good opportunity. The Hammers offered very little in the final third, allowing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men to see out the victory with relative ease.

1' We're underway at Old Trafford.
Manchester United are looking to complete their first league double over West Ham since 2013-14, when they were managed by current Hammers boss David Moyes.
West Ham have made three changes to their side that beat Leeds last time out. Jesse Lingard is unavailable against his parent club, while Pablo Fornals misses out due to injury. Bowen, Noble and Johnson start behind the lone attacker Antonio. Benrahma drops to the bench for the Hammers.
United have made four changes to their side that drew with Milan during the week. Rashford comes back into the fold to replace Anthony Martial, who misses out due to injury. West Ham bounced back from their defeat to Manchester City with a confident performance to see off Leeds United last time out. The Hammers begin the evening three points behind Chelsea in fifth place, although they will have a game in hand over their London rivals at the end of this game. It will be a challenge for David Moyes' men to earn a positive result even though they have been in excellent form of late.
United secured a huge result last week against Manchester City, defeating their rivals 2-0 on the road. However, Leicester City have since surpassed them in second place and work is required to overtake the Foxes. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer were denied a win during the week as a last-gasp header from Simon Kjaer secured a draw for AC Milan in their Europa League round-of-16 clash. United need a response to keep their momentum going in the back end of the term.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League contest between Manchester United and West Ham United at Old Trafford.
