WHAT HAPPENED?
Chelsea head north to take on Newcastle on Saturday afternoon with the aim of making it four games in a row without defeat. However, they will have to do so without their Argentine coach giving instructions on the touchline.

THE EXPLANATION
Pochettino will not be present because he must serve a touchline ban. The coach was shown a yellow card for storming onto the pitch to argue with referee Anthony Taylor during his team's 4-4 draw with Manchester City before the international break. It was his third booking of the season, resulting in a suspension. The manager revealed he is going to punish himself for the misdemeanour.
