  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kai's exceptional performance against Everton comes on the heels of his previous standout display, where he netted twice and provided two assists in a commanding 6-0 win against Leeds United two months earlier. The 14-year-old revealed that he takes valuable advice from his dad and attributed much of his success to Rooney's mentorship.

  • WHAT KAI ROONEY SAID

When asked if his dad shares some tips with him, Kai told reporters: "It's a lot about scoring goals because he was pretty good at scoring goals. So it's mainly tips about that. He is preparing me to get into professional football with the right mentality. He's helping me a lot. He watched the last game and he's been looking at the fixtures. He says he's pleased with them all. My dreams are to win the Premier League, and the World Cup."
