Vinicius Junior doesn't look too upset following Brazil's Copa America exit as Real Madrid star jets off to Ibiza to celebrate 24th birthday

The Real Madrid ace played a key role in helping Brazil reach the knockout stages of the 2024 Copa America, scoring twice as they topped their group. However, he was suspended for the quarter-final and watched from the stands as they lost to Uruguay on penalties. Just under a week from that loss, where he blamed himself for the defeat, Vinicius has flown out to the Balearic island to celebrate his birthday.

Alongside posting multiple photos of his birthday in Ibiza, the former Flamengo winger wrote: "24 🎊 IN IBIZA 🧸."

This season has arguably been the best of his young career - with some tipping him to win the Ballon d'Or. The Brazil international scored 24 goals, bagged 11 assists and helped Real Madrid win a La Liga and Champions League double in 2023-24. Now, he is finally getting a break - one that is well deserved.

Following Vinicius' summer break, he will return to Madrid for their pre-season campaign in the coming weeks. The new La Liga season gets underway in mid-August and by then, Vinicius will be chomping at the bit to get started.
