Sancho played a pivotal role in Dortmund's triumph, helping his side secure a 1-0 victory over PSG in the first leg of the semi-final clash. In the second leg, the decisive goal came from veteran defender Mats Hummels, propelling Dortmund to a 2-0 aggregate win and securing their spot in the Champions League final. Although Sancho wasn't quite able to match his dazzling performance at the Parc des Princes, his defensive workout earned him plaudits after the second leg.

Following the momentous victory, footage emerged from inside Dortmund's dressing room, capturing Sancho at the heart of the celebrations. Carrying a large speaker, Sancho led his team-mates in a joyous rendition of Adele's chart-topping song, 'Someone Like You'.

In a display of exuberance, Sancho climbed onto a table in the centre of the room, maintaining his grip on the speaker and his phone. The Champions League final could mark the culmination of Sancho's loan spell at Dortmund from Manchester United, which commenced in January. The 24-year-old's future remains uncertain, with speculation surrounding a permanent move gaining wind.

It would be nothing short of a fairytale ending for Sancho if he lifts the Champions League trophy with Dortmund at Wembley in London in June. However, to do that they must overcome either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid in the title decider - a daunting task to say the least.
