    The ‘Notorious’ MMA superstar continues to take a break from life inside the Octagon, but has been keeping himself busy. McGregor is a football fan, with allegiance pledged to various teams – including Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool, along with Scottish heavyweights Celtic - and continues to be linked with various takeover bids.

    For now, he has turned his attention towards on-field matters, with the 36-year-old turning out for a team named after The Black Forge pub that he owns. Unsurprisingly, McGregor looked to put his physical qualities to good use while sporting No.11 on his back.

    At one point, after losing the ball, McGregor lunged into a tackle studs first. He also booted an opponent in the stomach when attempting a shot, but came close to scoring a spectacular winner in a game then ended 1-1 as he lobbed a half-volley onto the top of the crossbar from 20 yards out.
