The Cherries' squad is set to feature club legends and former professionals as well as academy players and friends of the English club. Official player announcements will be shared via the team and TST's social media accounts.
“TST is excited to announce the addition of another Premier League club to our field,” said TST CEO Jon Mugar. “Bournemouth has had a couple of great seasons in the EPL and we can’t wait to see their approach to winning TST.”
They join this year's field in addition to fellow professional clubs Borussia Dortmund, Villarreal, Plymouth Argyle, Club America and Wrexham Red Dragons. However, plenty of other high-profile teams will also be competing, including Sergio Aguero's "Copa Portero All Stars" and Luis Nani's "Nani FC."
Opposite of the men's bracket will be the women's field, which doubled in size earlier this year, expanding to 16 teams. Former USWNT star Hope Solo is entering the competition with her own team, and detailed her excitement and belief in the tournament to GOAL in February.
