Wright, who featured as a striker for Frank Lampard's side on the day, played 90 minutes on the day, putting forth an impressive showing up top. He registered four total shots, putting two on target, while logging 24 touches across the final third.
Typically a left winger for the Sky Blues, Wright played out of position up top but still looked the part in the contest.
He was a player who was called into Mauricio Pochettino's Gold Cup squad this summer, but had to pull out due to a minor Achilles injury. He featured in their opening match against Trinidad and Tobago before departing the camp.
He'll be looking to return to the team this September.
