Incredible milestone for Thomas Muller! Bayern Munich hero racks up 500th competitive win with German giants

Thomas Tuchel's men rallied from going a goal down courtesy of Nico Elvedi to hit back through Aleksandar Pavlovic, Harry Kane, and Matthijs de Ligt and claim all three points at Allianz Arena. After the match, Bayern announced this was the 34-year-old's 500th win in his 690th competitive game for the Bavarian outfit.

World Cup winner Muller is a Bayern legend and is a rare example of a one-club man. The forward has scored 237 goals in 690 appearances for Bayern and last season he lifted his record-extending 12th Bundesliga title at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Muller, who scored 45 goals in 126 appearances for the Germany national team between 2010-2023, has won an incredible 32 trophies during his time with Bayern, including two Champions League titles in 2013 and 2020 respectively.

Among other targets, Muller will set his sights on bringing up 700 appearances for the club before the end of the season. Next up, Bayern face league leaders Bayer Leverkusen in a crucial clash at the top of the table next weekend.
