Ruben Amorim gives his verdict on Rasmus Hojlund's improvement and explains how Amad Diallo must improve after duo's star role in Man Utd win

A Hojlund brace helped United come from behind to beat the Czech side on their own patch in the Europa League on Thursday. After the match, manager Amorim explained how striker Hojlund is improving and how Amad got on playing in the number 10 role.

On substitute Hojlund, he told TNT Sports: "He is improving. He is more near the goal now. He knows better the movement he has to do. He could score more this evening, but he is scoring, working and controlling the ball better."

Amorim added on Amad: "He can be a good player in that position. We need left-footed players in this team to play that role. In the first half, he was coming for the ball too much. He needs to play near the opposition defence more. He will improve in the future for sure."

The result put United into the automatic qualification spots to reach the last 16 of the Europa League. It also ended a run of back-to-back defeats in what was a morale-boosting victory for the Red Devils.

Hojlund and Amad will hope to secure United another win in their next game as they take on bitter rivals Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
