Getty Images SportTHE BIGGER PICTURE
Barcelona's fears have now been proven true as the Catalan side have now confirmed that Lewandowski has 'suffered an injury to the semitendinosus muscle in his left thigh'. The severity of the injury and the progression of his rehabilitation will mean that the Polish striker is likely to miss around three weeks of action for Barcelona.
AFPWHAT NEXT FOR BARCELONA?
Luckily for Flick, he has received the service of Dani Olmo yet again after he was declared fit last week, and Ferran Torres is in fine form for the Blaugrana. However, Lewandowski's connection with Raphinha and Lamine Yamal will be sorely missed by the side over the course of the next few weeks.
