The Madrid star continues to remain the number one target for the officials of the Saudi Pro League, who have reportedly placed an offer with the player that would see him earning a whopping €1 billion over five years. The Saudi officials have made it clear on a number of occasions that they want to make Vinicius Jr the highest-paid player in the world.

While the player himself has made it clear that he wants to stay back at Santiago Bernabeu and win more accolades for the club, Relevo reports that there have been discussions inside the Los Blancos dressing room over the winger's transfer to the Middle Eastern country. The report adds that Vinicius Jr's team-mates have reportedly joked about the outrageous offer from Saudi Arabia and the player himself has discussed the offer with his friends and acquaintances.

Marca had earlier reported that the entourage of the 24-year-old sees Saudi's offer as 'an unprecedented and irresistible' proposal. It now remains to be seen if the Selecao star will sign a new contract with the Spanish club or move to Asia for a fresh challenge.

Carlo Ancelotti's side will be back in action on Wednesday as they take on Real Sociedad in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final fixture.
