Real Betis target second Man Utd flop after Antony loan deal as Red Devils prepare to confirm £29m signing

Per the Daily Mail, Betis are keen on signing another Manchester United flop in the form of Tyrell Malacia, just days after securing the services of Antony on loan. The Spanish club are one of several teams in Europe that have shown an interest in the out-of-favour United full-back.

Malacia's departure could pave the way for Patrick Dorgu's arrival at Old Trafford. On Wednesday, The Athletic reported that the Red Devils have reached a 'broad agreement' with Lecce to sign the 20-year-old defender for €30m (£25.2m) plus €5m (£4.2m) in add-ons.

Malacia has had a disappointing time with Manchester United since joining the club from Feyenoord in 2022. He has been plagued with severe injuries and returned to action in November after 17 months on the sidelines. In the 2024-25 campaign, the Dutch full-back has appeared in just eight matches across all competitions.

Ruben Amorim's United side will aim to extend their recent winning streak to three games on Thursday as they take on FCSB in the Europa League.
