Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns played to a 0-0 draw in the MTN8 semi-finals, first leg match at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
It was a difficult match, particularly for Sundowns who finished the contest with zero shots at goal.
Pirates won most of the midfield battles especially with debutant Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo outplaying Andile Jali.
Jali could not impress in this match and that resulted in him being substituted in the 54th minute.
But what left fans talking more was a first-half incident when Jali was left sprawling on the turf after being sold a dummy by Monnapule Saleng.
It was Saleng’s first match of the season for Pirates and he was in top form and very instrumental in the middle of the park.
