THE BIGGER PICTURE
After the game, the Blues provided an update on Gusto and Madueke. The manager confirmed that Madueke has a hamstring issue that will keep him out of action for some time. The full-back, on the other hand, did not suffer any injury. Yankuba Minteh's brace and Kaoru Mitoma's strike helped the Seagulls beat Chelsea for the second time in a row in a week's time on Friday.
WHAT ENZO MARESCA SAID
Speaking at his post-match press conference, the 45-year-old Italian coach said: "Malo is okay. Noni unfortunately has a hamstring problem so unfortunately will be out for a little while."
