United players had to return from London in two separate buses after their flight back to Manchester was cancelled due to an issue with the airline, according to the Manchester Evening News. The journey by road took approximately three-and-a-hours, with players returning home at 1:30am on Monday morning. Furthermore, the Daily Mail add that the two buses dropped the players and the coaching staff at the parking of Manchester Airport as most of the squad members had parked their cars there before heading to London.
