Man Utd set Marcus Rashford price tag amid Milan interest - with outcast forward holding out for move to Spain

United are continuing to look for avenues to offload Rashford, who has fallen out of favour under new head coach Ruben Amorim. The club are willing to sell the player for £40 million (€48.1m/$49.7m), according to the Daily Mail, with AC Milan eyeing a loan move for the England international.

The report adds that the Red Devils will indeed consider loan moves, but with an obligation to buy. Rashford, on the other hand, would prefer to move to Spain, although a transfer to La Liga will not be possible until the summer. He has also had offers from the Saudi Pro League, but the 27-year-old has opted to stay in Europe to prolong his international career.

With Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic struggling with their fitness this season, Milan are looking for attacking options and are depending on Zlatan Ibrahimovic to find a replacement. The Sweden legend has reportedly recommended his former United team-mate.

Amorim's side will aim to end a run of four successive defeats when they travel to bitter rivals and Premier League leaders Liverpool on Sunday.
